Yes I have been very busy since my last post on this blog, classes are starting to pick up and although the information is awesome and the application that I am getting from it to apply to my life and on the field is awesome, it is still hard work. One of my most difficult classes is Ed Wharton's Historical Christian Evidences, which is a lot of facts about how to explain that the Bible is historically accurate and can be used as a historical document, so on and so forth. Starting today I am beginning to help out with the 5th and 6th grade boys at Sunset as somewhat of a training ground for the different ages that I will be working with on the field. I am also beginning this Sunday something AIM calls Area Churches, this is a church that I go to every Sunday from now until Christmas break and help out with the services, classes or anything else that needs to be done in the church, this is also helping me to prepare myself for the field by me, and about 5-6 other people, form a team that goes to help this church every Sunday. The church that I will be going to is in Dimmit, Texas, which is a decent drive from Lubbock but still within the area. Well I think that is all for now, hopefully I will be able to get some pictures on here soon to show you Sunset and my area church that I will be going to. Thank you all for your prayers and support, please e-mail anytime you wish if you have any questions, concerns, or comments directed towards me.

Well classes actually started on Wednesday but I have been so busy with everything that I haven't be able to write until now. I've officially got the introduction to all my classes except one which is only on fridays which is tomorrow. They mostly seem pretty easy, except for Ed's class which is Historical Christian Evidences which I hear is somewhat difficult yet still very awesome , but I am definetly going to have to work real hard in staying on task and getting everything done. The people I'm meeting here are so awesome and on fire for God. I love everything about AIM already and to me it feels like I've been here for so long but it's only been a short time. I hope everyone back home is doing awesome and everything is going good, I'm sorry this is such a short post but I am going to get started on the homework I have to do for the classes. Please feel free anyone who reads this to send me an e-mail if you want to talk or anything.

Finally I've made to AIM after what seemed like a forever road trip. I'm not saying that it was completely terrible because I did take it with my family and we got to see some interesting sights along the way but all in all I can say that I am happy to finally be here. Actually I've been here for about two days now and I'm all unpacked and everything is setup in my AIM apartment. I've already gotten to meet quite a lot of people, mostly AIMers that are in my class and the AIM assistants who are helping out with my AIM class, and they all have been really awesome. Tomorrow I'm going to church and doing a couple of other odd and end things till Monday when orientation and classes begin. My roommate is a previous AIMer who didn't finish his complete term and is now back to finish it and tells me that the first couple of weeks are really easy in classes but after those weeks is when the "fun" begins. I'm definitely going to be dedicated myself to all my studies and I plan to pass the classes here with exceptional grades, unlike some of my years in high school. Well it's about time for me to hit the hay but I just want to send out greetings to all the people who are supporting me in this endeavor and I only ask for your prayers and concern.

Well I'll be on way to Texas tonight or early tomorrow morning and I figured that this would be a good time to start this blog. I am really excited about this entire experience and I know that God is leading me to AIM to do great things. I want to thank all of you who have helped me with support and having been praying for me. It's awesome to have such a great church family at Metro and I pray that where ever this life takes me that I am always reminded where I have came from. I am somewhat sad that I'm going to be leaving my friends and family for quite a while but I know that only good can come from all of this and I know that the people I am going to meet in AIM are going to be awesome. I guess I should get back to packing now and getting fully prepared for the drive over to Texas. Thank you all for what you have done for me.
